My name is Xander Putney. I'm currently 21 years old, and I'm a student at Hawkeye Community College. I'm pursuing an associate's degree for Web, App, and Game Development. I plan to continue my education when I graduate in 2028.
My main goal after graduation is to start a career in video game development. Gaming has always been my passion and my favorite past time. I would be thrilled to have a part in making something that people like me can enjoy. I would also like to make my own smaller projects for fun, like websites and apps.
One of my favorite things I've learned in Web Applications so far is making forms in HTML. I was excited to learn about forms because it gave me a chance to make my websites more interactive. What is the internet if it's not interactive? Below are some of my favorite assignments from that week:
Lab Quest 4.1
Quest 4.1
Another part of Web Applications that I really enjoyed was learning about JavaScript. It really allowed me to take the interactivity to the next level. As I learn more about JavaScript, I keep finding more ways to make websites dynamic and responsive. This is my favorite assignment from that week:
Lab Quest 6.2
